1 Live White Specter Crayfish/Freshwater Lobster (2+ inch Young Adult) by Aquatic Arts
Manufacturer: Aquatic Arts
Brand: Aquatic Arts
![]() |
Included is one White Specter Crayfish of the Procambarus Alleni variety. This is a 3+ inch long young adult and may already be breeding age! These are very active crayfish that do not spend all of their time under rocks. They are well known for keeping tanks clean and free of waste. NOTE: We recommend a tank size minimum of 30 gallons for this crayfish when it is fully grown. Though crayfish are NOT friendly to other aquarium inhabitants, they can often live with fast-moving fish and animals that are not bottom-dwellers. They are fairly slow and only a sick fish would be able to be caught by the crayfish. We keep them with guppies and fire red cherry shrimp, and have never seen a death, but we cannot guarantee that dwarf shrimp will be completely safe if kept with a large crayfish. Also, they may eat live plants, though some are worse about destroying plants than others. They can live in almost any freshwater aquarium and are among the toughest freshwater tank inhabitants available to the hobby. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - pH level range: 6.5 to 7.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Fast-moving fish (such as danios, rasboras, guppies, etc.). Cichlids can be aggressive towards crayfish and should not be kept in the same tank. - Additional notes: Crayfish prefer foods like invertebrate pellets or blanched vegetables, but will also eat fish food and algae wafers. Crayfish molt periodically ...

5 Live Thai Micro Spider Crabs (Limnopilos naiyanetri) - 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter - Fully Aquatic! by Aquatic Arts
Manufacturer: Aquatic Arts
Brand: Aquatic Arts
![]() |
Included is 5 Thai Micro Crabs (Limnopilos naiyanetr, aka "false spider crabs). These are tiny, fully aquatic crabs that so far have only been found in one specific river in Thailand. They are a very new and rare addition to the aquarium hobby. This is one of the very few types of crab that can live fully immersed in water at all times, so they are able to be kept in any freshwater aquarium. Due to their small size, these crabs pose little or no threat to most fish or other aquarium inhabitants; however, aggressive fish or animals may come after the micro crabs. They tend to do very well in tanks with dwarf shrimp. Thai Micro Crabs are translucent, which can make them difficult to see. They don't grow any larger than 1/2 inch in diameter, making them great for small tanks and nano tanks. They often act shy when first introduced to a new tank, but eventually will be found clinging to plants and decor and perching atop driftwood. They prefer to have plenty of hiding places, such as caves and plant cover. The way they eat is similar to Singapore Flower Shrimp or Bamboo Shrimp - they filter particles out of the water using tiny hairs on their claws. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.0 - Temperature range: 72 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Non-aggressive fish (such as Danios or Guppies), dwarf shrimp (such as Red Cherry Shrimp, Blue Velvet Shrimp, Amano Shrimp, etc.). Cichlids, crayfish, and othe...

3 Orange Giant Sulawesi Rabbit Snails (Tylomelania sp. - 1 to 3 inches) from Indonesia - VERY seldom available! by Aquatic Arts
Manufacturer: Aquatic Arts
Brand: Aquatic Arts
![]() |
These are Orange Giant Sulawesi Snails, one of the rarest snails in the aquarium hobby. Like the original Giant Sulawesi Snails, they come from Indonesia. These are very difficult to acquire in the United States, and I have never seen them in a local pet store. These snails' bodies are the color of liquid gold, and the shell is light brown to black and usually features a white crown. This is a very sharp-looking snail and sure to impress viewers, almost all of whom will have never seen one before. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 7.8 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 76 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Golden Rabbit Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: These snails are large and need room to move, so it's a good idea to avoid dense vegetation or overcrowding in your aquarium. Sulawesi snails eat algae, plant matter, and invertebrate pellets, and they have also been known to munch on plants like Java Ferns. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank.
1 Live Vampire Shrimp (Atya gabonensi) - 1 to 2 inches - Grows to 6 inches or more! + Java Moss by Aquatic Arts
Manufacturer: Aquatic Arts
Brand: Aquatic Arts
![]() |
Includes one live Vampire Shrimp (Also known as Viper Shrimp and African Filter Shrimp), which will grow to a maximum of 5-6 inches as an adult. This is one of the largest invertebrates that we have to offer. They are totally non-aggressive and will live peacefully with all other aquatic creatures. Most come in a deep, silvery blue color or brown, but these have been known to change colors a few times throughout the year. It is important for these shrimp to have plant cover or other ways to hide during the molting process. Like dwarf shrimp, they eat algae and leftover fish food (as well as invertebrate food pellets.) RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 7.4 - Temperature range: 74 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with any size of non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for - their care is similar to Singapore Flower Shrimp, as well as various dwarf shrimp species. Like dwarf shrimp, Vampire Shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow hygro green cabomba, etc.). This is because the shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.
3 LARGE (1/2 to 2+ inch) Ivory White Mystery Snails - Algae-eaters by Aquatic Arts
Manufacturer: Aquatic Arts
Brand: Aquatic Arts
![]() |
These large and striking snails are great for adding some color and decoration to your aquarium, but they also serve some very useful purposes. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color. Mystery Snails are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. They are quite large as adults, growing 2"+ in size. NOTE: If you search on the Internet for mystery snails, many results will state that these are the same species as Apple Snails. These are NOT Apple Snails, though they do resemble them in shape. Apple Snails are considered an invasive species and are illegal to own in the United States. Our Mystery Snails do not grow to the tremendous size that Apple Snails do (often as big as an apple). RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 7.6 to 8.4 - Temperature range: 68 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types snails (Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: With mystery snails, it's a good idea to make sure the water line in your aquarium isn't too high, as these snails tend to climb up to the water line to breathe air. Other than algae and biofilm, they also eat fish or invertebrate pellets and b...
