5 Zebra Thorn Nerite Snails (Neritina natalensis - 1/4 to 1/2 inch in Diameter) - Live Snails by Aquatic Arts

These little beauties are great for adding some shine and sophistication to your aquarium. They also clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, eat hair algae, and keep your substrate clean. Nerite Snails are widely believed to be the single best snail in the aquarium hobby for eating algae. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Nerite Snails require salt water to reproduce, so they will never overpopulate your aquarium (as some freshwater snails are known to do). Note that these snails are EXTREMELY small. When you receive the snails, they will likely be pea-sized or a little smaller (ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter). If you are interested in snails larger than this yet similar in colors, check out Zebra Nerite snails. Since Nerite Snails do not reproduce in freshwater, we send younger ones so you can enjoy them for their full lifespan. In addition to their unique glossy finish, the Zebra Thorn Nerite shells have small spikes protruding from the front of the shell that look like little antennae. They definitely add a cute factor to these snails! RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (other Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: With all nerite snails, it's a good idea to make sure the water line in your aquarium isn't too high, as these snails tend to climb up beyond the water line. Nerite snails do not tolerate water with high nitrate or copper levels.

2 LARGE Freshwater Bamboo Shrimp/Singapore Flower Shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis) - 2+ inch Young Adults by Aquatic Arts

Singapore Flower Shrimp are a truly fascinating species due to their lively personalities and their ability to quickly change color based on their mood and/or environment. Colors we see most often are an earthy tan and cerulean blue. These are one of the largest freshwater shrimp, ranging in size from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches. Singapore Flower Shrimp are peaceful and will get along great with any other critters in your aquarium, as long as the others aren't aggressive towards them. Like dwarf shrimp, they eat algae and leftover fish food (as well as invertebrate food pellets.) RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - pH level range: 6.5 - 8.0 - Temperature range: 68° - 85° F - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Any type of dwarf shrimp (such as Green Babaulti shrimp, Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: Care is similar to dwarf shrimp. Shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow hygro, green cabomba, etc.). This is because the shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.

5 Zebra Nerite Snails (Neritina natalensis - 1/2 to 1 inch in Diameter) - Live Snails by Aquatic Arts

These attractive snails definitely draw your eyes directly to them, but they also serve some very useful purposes, as all nerite snails do. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color. Zebra nerite snails range from 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter. They usually will remain around 1 inch throughout their lifespan, but the occasional snail will reach 1 1/2 inches! They do not eat plants (only algae), so they are perfectly suitable for planted tanks. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (other Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). Nerite snails do not tolerate water with high nitrate levels. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank.

Liven up your aquarium with 15+ nerite snails of three different varieties! These beautiful snails are great for giving your aquarium some exotic flair, but they also serve some very useful purposes. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean. Nerite snails are widely believed to be the best snail in the aquarium hobby for eating algae. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Nerite snails require salt water to reproduce, so they will never overpopulate your aquarium (as some freshwater snails are known to do). Tiger Nerite snails' shells are a lovely dark amber color with small black marking that form encircling stripes! Sun Thorn Nerite snails are EXTREMELY tiny - they ship out as pea-size or smaller. Some Sun Thorn nerite snails feature a black and yellow spiral pattern, while others come in colors like brown and olive green. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (other Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Green Babaulti shrimp, Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). 1 Live White Specter Crayfish/Freshwater Lobster (2+ inch Young Adult) by Aquatic Arts

Included is one White Specter Crayfish of the Procambarus Alleni variety. This is a 3+ inch long young adult and may already be breeding age! These are very active crayfish that do not spend all of their time under rocks. They are well known for keeping tanks clean and free of waste. NOTE: We recommend a tank size minimum of 30 gallons for this crayfish when it is fully grown. Though crayfish are NOT friendly to other aquarium inhabitants, they can often live with fast-moving fish and animals that are not bottom-dwellers. They are fairly slow and only a sick fish would be able to be caught by the crayfish. We keep them with guppies and fire red cherry shrimp, and have never seen a death, but we cannot guarantee that dwarf shrimp will be completely safe if kept with a large crayfish. Also, they may eat live plants, though some are worse about destroying plants than others. They can live in almost any freshwater aquarium and are among the toughest freshwater tank inhabitants available to the hobby. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - pH level range: 6.5 to 7.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Fast-moving fish (such as danios, rasboras, guppies, etc.). Cichlids can be aggressive towards crayfish and should not be kept in the same tank. - Additional notes: Crayfish prefer foods like invertebrate pellets or blanched vegetables, but will also eat fish food and algae wafers. Crayfish molt periodically and sometimes eat their old exoskeleton.

10 Live Amano Shrimp (Caridina multidentata, aka Yamato shrimp) - 1/2 to 1 1/2 Inch Young Adults! Better than Ghost Shrimp! BEST Algae Eating Shrimp in the World! by Aquatic Arts

Amano shrimp are one of the most useful animals in the aquarium hobby, and they are very attractive dwarf shrimp as well! They grow about twice as large as dwarf shrimp, attaining a maximum size of over two inches! Their bodies are translucent with a bluish tint, and are covered in small, dark red dots. Amano shrimp are totally peaceful, and are great additions to shrimp tanks with other dwarf shrimp species as they will not interbreed with other dwarf shrimp or eat shrimp fry. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - pH level range: 6.0 - 7.6 - Temperature range: 60° - 80° F - Water type: Slightly hard water - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for - similar to other dwarf shrimp species. However, these shrimp are particularly difficult to breed, and very few aquarium breeders have found success breeding them in captivity. Amano shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow hygro, green cabomba, etc.). This is because amano shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.

1 Live Vampire Shrimp (Atya gabonensi) - 1 to 2 inches - Grows to 6 inches or more! + Java Moss by Aquatic Arts

Includes one live Vampire Shrimp (Also known as Viper Shrimp and African Filter Shrimp), which will grow to a maximum of 5-6 inches as an adult. This is one of the largest invertebrates that we have to offer. They are totally non-aggressive and will live peacefully with all other aquatic creatures. Most come in a deep, silvery blue color or brown, but these have been known to change colors a few times throughout the year. It is important for these shrimp to have plant cover or other ways to hide during the molting process. Like dwarf shrimp, they eat algae and leftover fish food (as well as invertebrate food pellets.) RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 7.4 - Temperature range: 74 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with any size of non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for - their care is similar to Singapore Flower Shrimp, as well as various dwarf shrimp species. 3 Orange Giant Sulawesi Rabbit Snails (Tylomelania sp. - 1 to 3 inches) from Indonesia - VERY seldom available! by Aquatic Arts

These are Orange Giant Sulawesi Snails, one of the rarest snails in the aquarium hobby. Like the original Giant Sulawesi Snails, they come from Indonesia. These are very difficult to acquire in the United States, and I have never seen them in a local pet store. These snails' bodies are the color of liquid gold, and the shell is light brown to black and usually features a white crown. This is a very sharp-looking snail and sure to impress viewers, almost all of whom will have never seen one before. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 7.8 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 76 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Soft to medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Golden Rabbit Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: These snails are large and need room to move, so it's a good idea to avoid dense vegetation or overcrowding in your aquarium. Sulawesi snails eat algae, plant matter, and invertebrate pellets, and they have also been known to munch on plants like Java Ferns. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank.

3 LARGE Blue Mystery Snails (Algae Eaters) - Live Snails by Aquatic Arts

These large and striking snails are great for adding some color and decoration to your aquarium, but they also serve some very useful purposes. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Mystery Snails are quite large as adults, growing 2"+ in size. NOTE: If you search on the Internet for mystery snails, many results will state that these are the same species as Apple Snails. These are NOT Apple Snails, though they do resemble them in shape. Apple Snails are considered an invasive species and are illegal to own in the United States. Our Mystery Snails do not grow to the tremendous size that Apple Snails do (often as big as an apple). RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 7.6 to 8.4 - Temperature range: 68 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (Nerite snails, other Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: With mystery snails, it's a good idea to make sure the water line in your aquarium isn't too high, as these snails tend to climb up to the water line to breathe air. Other than algae and biofilm, they also eat fish or invertebrate pellets and blanched vegetables such as zucchini, kale, spinach, or cucumber. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank.
