People around the world will be wearing a red cap in honor of Jacques Yves Cousteau, who inspired people of all ages to love and protect the ocean.  We hope that you will join us this year and wear a red cap for the ocean.  Cap Rouge Day was first celebrated in 2010 on what would have been Jacques Cousteau's 100th birthday.

Avila Beach Sea LIfe Center presents Part III of our Spring lecture series Thursday May 17 at 6:30 p.m.  We will begin the evening with a chance to savor some local wine and unwind while you meet the presenter in our Exhibit Hall from 6:30 - 7p.m.  Presentations will begin promptly at 7p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m.  $15 for public and $10 for Sea LIfe Center Members.
