New trail to link Avila and Port San Luis?  Sweet!

The project, called the Avila Beach to Harford Pier trail connector, would provide an oceanfront corridor separate from the road for hikers, bikers and those with disabilities. It would also facilitate beach access at various points along the trail.

January Sea Star of the Month:
Graphic Designer Fantastico:  Brian Hendricks

Choosing a logo is never easy.  It's sort of like choosing a name for your baby, but then also having to choose what that baby would look like.  It takes time, paitence, and a lot of creativity.  Thank goodness we had the help of designer Brian Hendricks from Estero Bay Graphics!  He helped us take our ideas from concept to paper, then rework them (and rework them, and rework them....) until we had a logo we love.  It was no easy task.  Every little adjustment changed the entire look and feel of the logo.  Brian sat with us patiently as we'd say "more to the left, no...no, a bit to the right" or "a bit more blue, no..more green, how about a touch of black?".  After hours and hours of deliberation, we have our final product and we love it.  Thank you Brian!
